This mod is something I have always wanted to have. It also allows you to set plants to Always In-Season without reloading or travel!

The new update makes it much more reliable when shifting seasons regarding plants. Thanks to Bienchen (modder) who made a detailed post on the why's of the issue I think I fixed it. This update fixes the dirt piles issue from Eco Lifestyle. This update fixes some issues that can occur when skipping seasons and a couple other bugs.

Keep up the good fight and let me know if they get that adjusted, if you think of it, as I would like to re-enable the sensitivity to temp. Actually, even if they're not on autonomous the game should key them up in the clothes appropriate for the season if/when having the wrong clothes on is life threatening. If they are on autonomous they should automatically get on their cold or hot clothes in appropriate weather. that even though it's cold, middle of winter, etc., and others are wearing their winter gear, a sim may take a shower and come out in their normal clothes.

Plus I'm most disturbed by two factors in this dynamic. well, sometimes it seems nearly that random.)Īnyway, the not changing when commanded bites me on the butt more because I manage large households, and when I queue up things for a sim I'm normally not monitoring the entire process but on to another sim. (Hungry, work, not enough fun, pet wants a hug, tense. or all are wiped out because of a number of things. This probably counts for at least some of the times our Sims aren't changing into their cold or hot weather gotta love those (sometimes seemingly random) moments when all of a sudden they skip one or more of the 'commands' in their feed. So, I think (at least for me) that I was seeing the temperature as cold or hot when it was really just cool or warm. But when the thermometer shows a more extreme cold or hot temperature, they usually will change clothing. In these cases my Sims will never change to their cold or hot weather clothing but will always stay in their Everyday clothing. What I mean is that there is no "neutral" on the thermometer, but that a slightly cold or slightly hot temperature will be perceived by Sims as being relatively neutral, even if the thermometer looks to us as if it is cold or hot. In playing some more since the last time we discussed this I have noticed that at least in some of the cases is depends on what "cold" and "hot" are perceived as.
I vote for an update/patch that will have them autonomously change to their hot or cold weather outfit when appropriate - or at least when it is life-threatening to excellent point! Unfortunately, at least in my case, I've only bought one of those rewards once (and it was by accident when I was trying to buy another reward! ) But I'm sure your info will be helpful to others! have you happened to have bought any of the temperature related rewards yet? On the other hand, sometimes a Sim will automatically do the Houdini spin and change into their cold weather clothes as soon as they're heading outside. On the other hand, there's another guy in the household running around in his PJs (tanktop) and he has no complaints. if you don't happen to catch them and make them (successfully) change to to hot or cold weather clothing once winter or hot weather summer arrives, at some point they will suddenly be blue saying they are about to freeze to death- or the opposite in summer, they are about to boil to death.įor example, in the current household I'm playing, I keep having this particular Sim I'm working on skills for change into his winter clothes because he's uncomfortable due to to the cold, and he just took a shower and came out in his default clothes (not winter clothes). when appropriate to the activity type are engaging in.īut.

Can we put in a patch request for the Sims to autonomously change clothes to reflect the 'cold weather' or 'hot weather' clothing assigned to them? They automatically change to the other outfits - workout, swimming, sleeping, formal, etc.
